1Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Linksy Community ("Linksy", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Linksy platform — including our website at linksy.community and our mobile/web application — you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms").

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Service.

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Linksy Community. Please read them carefully before using the Service.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@linksy.community if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized use of your account.

Creating multiple accounts to evade a suspension or for any deceptive purpose is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of all associated accounts.

5User-Generated Content

"User Content" means any text, photos, event details, messages, reactions, or other material you submit to or through the Service. You retain ownership of your User Content.

By submitting User Content, you grant Linksy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, store, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute that content solely as necessary to operate and improve the Service.

7Events & Meetups

7.1 Event Creation

Users may create events on the Linksy map. By creating an event you confirm that it is genuine, lawful, and accurately described. You are responsible for ensuring that any event you create complies with applicable laws, venue rules, and local regulations.

7.2 Safety Disclaimer

Important: Linksy is a discovery platform. We do not organize, vet, endorse, or guarantee the safety of any event listed on the platform. Attending any event is entirely at your own risk. Always exercise reasonable personal safety precautions and meet in public places.

7.3 Prohibited Events

8Intellectual Property

The Linksy name, logo, design, code, and all content created by us (excluding User Content) are owned by or licensed to Linksy and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without our express written permission.

9Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand our data practices.

10Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

10.1 "As Is" Service

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10.2 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Linksy and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10.3 Real-World Events

We expressly disclaim all liability for any harm, injury, loss, or damage arising from events organized by or attended through the platform. Users participate in real-world meetups entirely at their own risk.

11Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Linksy and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of the Service; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third-party right.

12Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, at our sole discretion. Grounds for termination include, but are not limited to, violation of these Terms, harmful conduct toward other users, or legal requirements.

You may delete your account at any time from within the app or by contacting us at support@linksy.community. Upon account deletion, we will process data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.

13Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via the app or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the jurisdiction of Linksy Community's principal place of business, unless otherwise required by mandatory local law.
